Updated: Mar 23, 2020

Effective Client communication and client communication upon first glance appear very similar, but as clients are varied so are the approaches to communication.

Client communication maybe simple and short, sometimes with little substance or impact and other times it's all the client needs at that moment in time.

Whereas effective client communication puts you in the clients position (the clients point of view) what would you expect if you were the client?

In some cases the method of communication is even more important than the message communicated, a trail (paper/email/text or recording) can generally resolve potential conflicts in the future.

"Your Clients can help build your business, but with communication as it is today can easily impact your business."

Understanding and using effective communication helps to build trust and relationships.

An effective communicator:

  • Has empathy with the client and understands their perspective
